Young was born November 1, 1929 in Uiju, Korea to Chang Soo and Hwa Soon Lee. She was married to Won B. Moon who preceded her in death. She lived a selfless life as a homemaker, raising her own children and playing a major role in the upbringing of her grandchildren. She was an active member of the church, a world traveler, and enjoyed knitting and gardening. Her true passion, though, was her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, sharing her stories and life experiences. Young lived her life for others, especially her family. She was always a source of strength, love, and compassion not only for her family, but for anyone she came in contact with. The world is a better place because of her and she will truly be missed
She is survived by her son, Yong T. Moon (Nung), her daughter, Young Miller (Michael) all of Junction City, KS, three grandsons; Jeong Moon (Jody) of Manhattan, KS, Joe Moon (Beverly) of Shawnee, KS and Han Moon of Seoul, Korea, four great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Olivia, Isabel and Sophia.
