Yoshie Welch

Yoshie "Betty" Welch, 83, of Junction City, KS passed away at her son's home in Mission, KS, surrounded by family on Saturday, June 27, 2015.
She is survived by her children, Peggy Cox, Shirley Durso, George Ayotte and Judy Haley, their spouses, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce, husband Jack Welch and long-time friend Roger Malarkey.
Betty worked as a bartender at the American Legion until her retirement. Bowling was her passion, along with fishing, knitting, watching The Young & the Restless, Wheel of Fortune, and Family Feud (gotta love that Steve Harvey). She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
A visitation/gathering will be held Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 6pm-8pm at Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home, 203 N. Washington, Junction City, KS.
