Yoshie K. Bohannon

Yoshie K. Bohannon, 92, of Junction City, KS, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Stormont-Vail Healthcare in Topeka, KS. A visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Johnson Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the visitation. The cremated remains will be buried at a later date at Ft. Riley Main Post Cemetery.

Yoshie was born September 6, 1929 in Tokyo, Japan the daughter of Bunjiro and Hisa (Enagaki) Kaneko.

She married David Bohannon January 21, 1953 in Tokyo. He passed away February 6, 1997 and was buried at Fort Riley Main Post Cemetery.

Yoshie worked in the hospitality industry for many years in Junction City, KS. She enjoyed bowling, knitting, crochet and gardening.

Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Moreilhon of Orlando, FL, Susan Dickman of Topeka, KS and Barbara Parvin of Junction City, KS; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband David and one brother.
