Funeral services for Yoo Soon Kim, 94, of Junction City, Kansas will be held Thursday, September 29, 2005, at 2:00pm, at the Korean United Methodist Church, 1003 N. Franklin, Junction City, KS. with Pastor Song officiating. Kim died at her home on September 26. Kim spent her life as a homemaker, and enjoyed caring for her 29 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Kim married Phir Yong Kwak in 1928 in Cheun Nam, Korea. He preceded her in death in 1958. She was also preceded in death by one brother.
Kim is survived by her two sons, He S. Kwak and Hyu Kwak, as well as five daughters, Hwak S. Kwak, Sun S. Kwak, Sun N. Kwak and Sun S. Kwak, all of Korea, and Pu Parker of Grandview Plaza, Ks.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Korean United Methodist Church, 1003 North Franklin, Junction City, KS 66441.
