Yong S. Grant

Funeral services for Yong S. Hwang (Grant) , 71, of Junction City will be 10 a.m., Thursday, February 7, 2008 at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington with Pastor Woo Jang of the Korean Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery. Visitation will be held at 9 a.m. one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Ms. Grant passed away at her residence on February 2, 2008. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial contributions be given to the Korean Baptist Church, 700 W. 7th Street, Junction City, KS 66441.

Ms. Grant was born December 28, 1936 in Wonju, South Korea to Byong and Nyong (Pak) Hwang. She had been a resident of Junction City since 1969 and had worked for Contract Services as a supervisor for food service at Fort Riley. She was a member of the Korean Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sisters; Sue Hwang (Miller) of Honolulu, HI and Soon N. Hwang of Seoul, Korea.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
