Wilma R. Shane

Graveside services for Wilma R. Shane, 87, Junction City will be1:00pm Monday September 8,2008 at Highland Cemetery with Pastor Matt Christensen officiating. Mrs. Shane passed away September 3, 2008 at the Good Samaritan Center, Visitation will be from 6-8pm Sunday, September 7, 2008 at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel, 805 Caroline. In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church 630 S. Eisenhower, Junction City, Ks and or Good Samaritan Center 416 West Spruce, Junction City, KS 66441 or to the charity of the donor's choice.

Wilma was born November 6, 1920 in rural Dickinson County the daughter of John R. and Martha C. (Turnbull) Small. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She was a homemaker. She married Milton Shane July 27, 1952 in Junction City. He preceded her in death March 1992.

Survivors include sisters Lola Sells of Flora Visita, NM, Ruby REynolds of Lake City, FL, Viola Schacher of Columbus, NE; brothers Aubrey, Ralph, and Herbert Small of Junction City, KS and sister-in-law Wilma Bowman.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, brother Calvin Small, and sister Norma Small Strauss.
