Graveside services for Wilma J. Rowland, 78, Skiddy, KS were held 11:00am Saturday June 17, 2006 at Skiddy Cemetery. Mrs. Rowland passed away June 15, 2006 at Geary Community Hospital.
Wilma was born March 12, 1928 in Manhattan, KS the daughter of Hurley and Jessie Mae (Barton) Fletcher. She was a cook at Westwood and Eisenhower Schools for thirteen years retiring in 1991.
She married Melvin K. Rowland May 20, 1977 in Council Grove, Ks, he survives at the home.
Other survivors include three children, Pamela Sue Martinez, Junction City, KS, Francis Eugene Rowland, Maple Hill, KS and Rebecca Jane Newbury, White City, KS; a brother James Edward Fletcher, American Falls, ID; five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
