William L. Briggs
William "Bill" L. Briggs, age 77, of Junction City, KS, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2011, at his residence, with his loving famity at his bedside.
He was born on January 8th, 1934, in Overland, Missouri, the son of Leland Robert Briggs and Dorothy Augusta(Strauss) Briggs.
He married Delores Rosey on October 15, 1961.
William was a Civil Service employee on Fort Riley, KS, for many years and also worked for USD 475, as a Custodian at Lincoln Elementary school.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Delores, of the home, two sons, Robert L. Briggs of Bradenton, Florida, William J. Briggs of Liberty, Missouri, three daughters, Teresa K. William of Manhattan, Kansas, Debbie A. Jones of San Jose, California, and Nancy L. Long of Wamego, Kansas, and eight grandchildren.
Also surviving are three brothers, John Briggs of Granite, Oklahoma, Howard Briggs of Junction City, Kansas, and Glen Briggs of Lenexa, Kansas. and one sister, Delores Bremer.
