Graveside services for William J. "Bud" Green, 76, of Abilene, KS will be held Saturday, June 18, 2005, 2:00 p.m. with full military honors at Skiddy cemetery with Reverend Dr. Joe Belardo officiating. No visitation is planned. Mr. Green passed away June 14, 2005 at the Colmery O'Neil Veterans Hospital, Topeka, KS.
Mr. Green was born May 9, 1929, Ringgold, LA to Jesse Green. He served in the United States Army from 1948-1961,he was then self-employed doing roofing and siding. Mr. Green resided in Abilene, KS for the past two years.
He married Lorna Mae Wacker November 1, 1957, Junction City, KS, she preceded him in death July 10, 2003.
He is survived by one niece, Teresa Sewell of Grandview Plaza, KS
He was preceded in death by his father Jesse.
Pallbearers will be Fort Riley Honor Guard.
