William H. Day

Funeral Services for William H. Day, 80, Junction City, KS will be 10:00am Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel With Father Al Brungardt officiating. Burial will follow with full military honors at Fort Riley Cemetery. Mr. Day passed away February 15, 2006. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00pm Tuesday, February 21, 2006 at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington, Junction City, KS. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Xavier's Church, PO Box 399, Junction City, KS 66441.

Mr. Day was born October 9, 1925 In Baltimore, MD the son of James and Luvinia (Somerville) Day. He served in the US Army in World War II, Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam Conflict, retiring in 1972. He also worked at Wal-Mart for over 15 years.

He was married to Therese Schnieilzl January of 1959 in Golddac, Switzerland. She preceded him in death October 12, 2001.

Survivors include one son Thomas and daughter-in- law Angela Day, Junction City, three grandchildren, Christine, Caitlyn and William Day of Junction City, three sisters of Maryland.

Mr. Day was preceded in death by his parents.
