Wilhelmine "Oma" Whitefoot, 89, Junction City, passed away January 29, 2013 at Geary Community Hospital. Cremation has taken place with the assistance of Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel. Visitation will be held, Monday, February 4, 2013, 6-8 p.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church. Private family graveside services will take place at Fort Riley Cemetery with Pastor Alan Estby officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions have been designated to Chapman Valley Manor, 1009 N. Marshall, Chapman, KS 67431.
Wilhelmine was born July 16, 1923, Osterholz-Scharmbeck, Germany to Otto and Sophia (Ferdinand) Kamp, she graduated high school in Germany and then attended Secretary School for two years in Bremen, Germany. She worked at the Air Force Exchange Cafeteria and then Johnson Brothers Furniture from September 1967 until retirement.
Wilhelmine married Delbert D. Whitefoot February 7, 1948, Munich, Germany, they raised five children.
Wilhelmine is survived by three sons; Michael D. Whitefoot, Ralph R. Whitefoot (Joni) and Delbert W. Whitefoot all of Junction City, KS and her daughter, Debra Jones (Paul) of Matthews, NC, nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Delbert, March 12, 1993 and her son Raymond.
