Graveside services for Weeona Elizabeth (Overholtz) Kidd, 92, Junction City will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 6, 2010 at Highland Cemetery with Father Al Brungardt officiating. The family will receive friends and relatives from 1 p.m. until service time on Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington. Weeona was born October 15, 1917 Manhattan, KS the daughter of Edward Curtis and Mary Elizabeth (Irvine) Overholtz.

Weeona was a homemaker, a member of St. Xavier's Catholic Church, Eagles Auxiliary Aerie #830, and Royal Neighbors of America.

Weeona is survived by three daughters; Patricia DeRouen of CA, Janice Smith of AZ, and Mary Crowe of ND, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, four husbands, two sons Eugene and Clifford Searls and grandson, Joseph Johnston
