Vivian Elizabeth Riley, 64, of Junction City, KS, died Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Salina Regional Medical Center, Salina. Vivian was born February 22, 1955 in Dover, Delaware, the daughter of Jacob and Bernice (Baines) Ayers.
Vivian married James "Jim" Riley on June 22, 1974 in Cheswold, Delaware. A Junction City area resident since 1986, moving here with her husband who was in the U.S. Army, Vivian worked for many years as a civilian worker on Ft. Riley. She most recently was a Management Analyst for Civilian Human Resource Agency.
Survivors include; her husband Jim, Junction City; a son, James Riley and his wife Sarita, Junction City; a daughter, Crystal Riley, San Antonio, Texas; a brother, Paul Ayers, Dover, Delaware; and 2 grandchildren, Kalia Riley and Jayvon Riley; sisters-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and her many friends. Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, and 2 brothers, who all lived in Delaware.
Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m., Saturday, July 13, 2019 at the Johnson Cremations. Funerals. Receptions, with Elder Antonio Timms presiding. The family will greet friends at the funeral home on Saturday, starting at 12:30 p.m until service time. Cremation will follow the service, and the ashes will be taken to Delaware for a Memorial Service.
