Services for Vincent (Ben) L. Cepeda,70,of Junction City, KS will be held at St. Xavier Catholic Church, Tuesday, July 29, 2003, 10:00 a.m. Father Al Brungardt will officiate. He died July 23, 2003 at Geary Community Hospital. Visitation will be Monday, July 28, 2003, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Fort Riley Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Memorial Contributions may be made to the St. Xavier Catholic Church, P.O. Box 399, Junction City, KS 66441. He was born April 19, 1933, Guam to
Vincent and Marthalena (Lujan) Cepeda. He married Elke Fichtl, August 18, 1964.
Ben served in the U S Army for 20 years, he retired as an E-6 in
1973, where he made Junction City, KS his home, he then worked for Civil Service at Fort Riley in Food Service for 15 years. He was a member of St. Xavier Catholic Church. Survivors: Wife: Elke Cepeda of Junction City, KS, One Son: Anthony Cepeda of Ponca City, OK, One Daughter: Natalie McCollums of Junction City, KS, Five Brothers: Carlos Cepeda, Eddie Cepeda, Jose Cepeda all of Guam, Roman Cepeda of Las Vegas, NV, Frankie Cepeda of Broken Arrow, OK, Three Sisters: Olympia and Luling both of Virginia and Marie of CA and One Grandchild, Zachary.
