Graveside inurnment for Viellen B. Ehrlich, 90, of Junction City will be Thursday, November 10, 2005, 10:00 a.m. at Fort Riley Cemetery. Chaplain Brian Oh will officiate. Mrs. Ehrlich passed away November 6, 2005 at Salina Regional Health Center. Memorials may be given to Donor's Choice, c/o Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel, 805 Caroline Ave., Junction City, KS 66441.
Mrs. Ehrlich was born February 14, 1915 in Taney County, MO, daughter of Harry F. and Bernice L. (Stokley) McFarland. She graduated from Solomon High School in 1933. Mrs. Ehrlich traveled around the country with her husband throughout his military career. She worked at Irwin Army Hospital for several years when her husband was stationed back in Fort Riley.
Mrs. Ehrlich married Paul L. Ehrlich September 18, 1939 in Hutchinson, KS; he preceded her in death February 17, 2002.
Survivors include two sisters, Jessie Spencer of Salina, KS and Thelma Leister of Butler, MO; Mother of the two grandchildren, Shirley Ehrlich of Junction City; two grandchildren, Paul Colt Ehrlich of Chapman, KS and Kristen Elizabeth Ehrlich of Eugene, OR; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Virgil E. McFarland, and son, Robert H. Ehrlich.
