Vernon Jean Slattery, 78, of Junction City, KS, departed this life on May 23, 2013, at his home. Mr. Slattery was born in Milwaukee, WI on December 15, 1934, to parents William and Maria Slattery.
A visitation will be held to celebrate Mr. Slattery's life from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on WEdnesday, May 29, 2013 at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Funeral Chapel, located at 203 N. Washington St. in Junction City. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages friends and loved ones to make a donation in Mr. Slattery's memory to the Disabled American Veterans.
