Funeral services for Ursula K. White, 71 of Junction City will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel, 805 Caroline Avenue, Junction City, KS with Reverend Audrey Toombs officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 9, 2011 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the chapel. Burial will follow at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery, Manhattan, KS. Mrs. White passed away on March 3, 2011 at Mercy Regional Hospital in Manhattan, KS. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Society, 1315 SW Arrowhead Rd., Topeka, KS 66604.

Ursula Kate (Kohr) White, fondly known as "Uschie", was born to the late Elisabetha Geborne and Albert Kohr on November 28, 1939 in Mannheim, Germany. Ursula was a licensed cosmetologist, homemaker, and along with her husband of 44 years, she managed the family rental properties.

Surviving to cherish her memory, her loving husband and caregiver during her illness, Johnie L White, of Junction City, KS; three sons: Michael A. Hagendorn (from a previous marriage) and wife Karen of Munich, Germany; Severos A. White and wife Andreia of Belton, MO; Sascha D. White and Rhonda of Junction City KS; daughter: Simona D. White and husband Jamie Sessions of Junction City KS; eleven grandchildren: Brandon, Caitlyn, Grant and Elena White; Auriana, Daphne and Maryalice White; Zhané, Nadya, Shantell and Jamarcus Sessions; her sister: Annie Marie (Kohr) and her husband Gerhart Shaffer of Manheim, Germany; step-daughter, Sheila White and husband James Dixon of Goldsboro NC: step-son Johnny Otis Sherrod and wife Christian of Corapeake NC; sister-in-laws: Cathleen Anderson of St. Albans, (Queens) NY ; Muriel A. White and husband George Herring of Freeport, Long Island, NY, Linda F. White and husband Reggie Sorel of Waldorf Maryland; JoAnn White Thompson of Atlanta, GA; brother-in-laws: William Otis White, Sr., and wife Tulcha of Fayetteville, NC; Jonah R. White, and wife Vivian of Atlanta, GA; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
