Funeral services for Trinh T. Tran 85, Junction City will be 10:00am Friday February 19, 2010 at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington St. A visitation will be 6 to 8pm Thursday, February 18, 2010 at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel. Mrs. Tran passed away February 13, 2010 at Geary Community Hospital.
Trinh J Tran was born January 1, 1925 in Con Tho Vietnam to Huyen Van Ty and Tran Thi Bay. She married Xi Van Tran in 1947 in Saigon, Vietnam.
She is survived by three daughters, Rot Butts and husband Daniel, Phan Johanson, Lan Ryan and husband Bill, one son, Michael and wife Hong Tran. Twelve grandchildren, Hanh and husband Richard Goodrum, Rebecca and husband Jamire Coleman, Linda Butts, Tina Butts, Michael Jr. Tran, Brian Tran, Barbara and husband David Armstead, Janette Johanson, Victor Johanson, Michael Johanson, and Tran Van Teo. Six great-grandchildren, Andrew Tran, Richard Jr. Goodrum, Garrick Goodrum, Davis Armstead, Tommy Tran, Katanna Johanson.
Mrs. Tran has resided in Junction City, KS for the past 24 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, two children, Mua Tran and Tran This Thu Ha and grandson Thomas Johnanson.
