Tracie L. Karmann of Junction City passed away in her home on August 7th, 2021. Tracie was born on July 11, 1962 in Junction City, Kansas to Jerry and Betsy Karmann.

Her greatest joys were her son Jacob, her grandchildren, her goldendoodle Wally and photography. She recently retired as a Civil Service Human Resource Assistant at Fort Riley.

She will be remembered as a fighter that always found a way to bring joy to those around her with her smile and laugh even during life's challenges.

Tracie is survived by her son, Jacob Schmutz and wife Leslie, her grandsons, Noah and Keegan, father, Jerry Karmann and brother Michael Karmann and wife Twila, niece Samantha Karmann, all of Junction City, niece Ashley Snider and husband Patrick, great niece Maddie and great nephews Tyler and Chase of Arlington Texas.

She was predeceased in death by her mother, Betsy Karmann and brother, Jeffrey Karmann.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 16, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Johnson Cremation and Funeral Service on 203 North Washington Street in Junction City, KS.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the American Diabetes Association P.O. Box 11454 Alexandria, VA. 22312; Autism Speaks 1060 State Road, Second Floor Princeton, NJ 08540; or a charity of your choice.
