Timothy L. "Timmy" Rudolph, the amazing son of the late Dan Rudolph Sr. and Maggie Ruth(Green) Mickens died July 17, 2020 at Geary Community Hospital. Visitation for family and friends will be from 3pm to 5 pm, Sunday, July 26, 2020 at Johnson Funeral Chapel, cremation will take place following the visitation. Due to Covid-19 masks will be required to attend the visitation and please maintain the guidelines of social distancing.
Tim made his debut into this world on November 25, 1958, Fort Riley, KS. From the beginning of life Timmy had to fight, his mom would sometimes share stories about him being the shoe box baby because when he was born they weren't sure he would make it! But boy did he show them!
Timmy attended Junction City high school where he became quite the star leading the Blue Jays Wrestling Team as a two time state champ making news throughout the state of Kansas. He later graduated in 1977 and attended Hutchinson Community College for 2 years!
After college Timmy served his country from 1982- 1985 in the U S Army which he was so proud of. During that time he met the love of his life Therese Rudolph and the two were married in 1982 and a year later became the proud parents of a beautiful baby boy that they named Tyrell Lee Rudolph.
Timmy loved to travel and most of all he loved to tell stories, boy did he have them no matter what it was Timmy had a story.
Timmy is the 3rd child out of 6 which includes three brothers, Dan Rudolph Jr. (Debbie) of Junction City, KS, Gregory Rudolph (Johnni) of Hutchinson, KS, Undray Rudolph also of Junction City, KS and two sisters, Ylanda Carson of Colorado Springs, CO and Faye Rudolph of Cleveland, OH.
Timmy also leaves to cherish his memory Tyrell (Tayronda) Rudolph his one and only son and his grandchildren the 3T,s Taeja, Tyree, and Tezrik, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and good friends.
Timmy was preceded in death by his father Dan Rudolph Sr. and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
