Thomas Wentworth Drew, 62, of Junction City, KS, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Valley View Senior Life Center in Junction City. Cremation will take place. A celebration of life will take place Saturday, May 14, 2022, at the East Rolling Hills Shelter Number 4 at Milford Lake. Food will be provided.
Tom was born April 8, 1960, in Junction City, KS the son of Enoch Franklin and Lillian G. (Wentworth) Drew.
Tom served in the United States Navy working as a machinist mate on the U.S.S. Duluth. He worked various construction jobs in Junction City. Tom was known as a hard worker with a strong work ethic. He enjoyed fishing, listening to rock and roll music, avid guitar player, gardening and attending his children's sporting events. Tom also enjoyed cooking and throwing a good bar b q for friends and family. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Tom met Bobbie Anthoni in 1983. They were married in 1987 in Junction City, KS and they were married for seventeen years.
Survivors include his girlfriend, Katharine Etherton of Junction City, KS; his ex-wife, Bobbie Drew of Great Bend, KS; one daughter, Tara L. Cruse of Great Bend, KS; three step-sons, James Sutton of Kansas City, MO, Samuel Sutton of Topeka, KS and Jeremy Sutton of Junction City, KS; eight grandchildren; one sister, Sandra Johnson of Wolfeboro, NH; two nieces, Heather Barnhart of Springfield, IL and Elizabeth Day of Plano, TX.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother Enoch Franklin "Frank" Drew, Jr. and one niece Roxanne Johnson.
