Theresa Irene Carey

Theresa Irene Carey, 69, of Junction City, Kansas passed away on April 4, 2025, at home surrounded by her family. Cremation has taken place per family's wishes and a family led committal service will be held at Fort Riley on the Fort Riley Cemetery.

Theresa was born on May 16, 1955, at Hollywood, Florida. Her mother, Doris Hickman, and her grandparents, Alec and Lenna Hickman raised her throughout her life.

Her family will always remember how family orientated she was. Her love also extended out to friends as well. She never met a stranger and was welcoming to everyone. Her grandchildren and family always had a safe place to go when they needed it. She was truly a selfless and forgiving person.

Theresa lived her life by the Lord and always made sure to instill these values in her family's lives.

She is survived by her loving children, Tiffany, Nicole, Sasha, Joshua, and Sherri; three sisters, Sherri, Elizabeth, and Melanie; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, her long-term family friend, George West, and a host of other loving family and friends.

Theresa was preceded in death by her loving husband, Charles Carey, her mother and father, grandparents; one son, Robert; one sister Jonna and her puppy, Spartacus.
