Funeral services for Teruko Williams 81, of Junction City, KS., will be Thursday, May 5, 2011, at 11:30 am. at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel,805 Caroline Ave., with Reverend Dr. Leonard Gray, officiating. Burial will follow at Ft. Riely Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 4, 2011, from 6-8 pm., at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel. Memorial Contributions to the American Cancer Society, 1315 SW Arrowhead Rd. Topeka, KS. 66604.
Mrs. Williams passed away on Friday, April 29, 2011, at her residence in Junction City.
She was born on December 5, 1928 in Gifu City Gifuken, Japan, the daughter of Tokichi Wakahara and Fusco (Ohuma) Wakahara.
She married Mack Williams and relocated to Junction City, KS, in 1952. Mr. Williams preceded her in death in 2000. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by one sister, Fukiko Furato in Japan, and special friends Raymond Galloway of Dubuque, Iowa, and Chae and Charles Bentley of Junction City, KS.
She was preceded by her parents, her husband, Mack, and two brothers.
