Teresa "Joan" Macy, 68, of Junction City, Kansas, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2023. Cremation will take place. A memorial service will take place at a later date. Inurnment will take place at Lakin Cemetery in Lakin, Kansas.
She was born on June 11, 1954, in Lakin, Kansas, to Louis and Irene (Weber) Ray.
Joan moved to Junction City to help take care of her mother in the later years of her life. She enjoyed spending time with her family and loved watching the birds in her yard. Joan was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Junction City.
Joan is survived by her brother, Jim (Annette) Ray of Milford, Kansas; two sons, Kurt (Paulette) Newman of Denton, Texas, Benjamin Newman of Edmond, Oklahoma; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, William L. Ray.
