Tee J.Snipes, 75, of Junction City, KS, passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Geary Community Hospital. A public visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Thursday, March 11, 2021 at the Johnson Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the visitation.
Tee was born January 27, 1946, the son of John T. and Jennie (Hardin) Snipes.
Tee was a cook on Fort Riley and Denny's Restaurant for over 30 years. Tee was an avid car enthusiast. He enjoyed cooking and listening to R&B Classic Music. Tee was an extremely hard worker and was loved by many.
On January 7, 1967, he married Darlene Snipes in Brownsville, TN.
Tee is survived by his loving wife Darlene of the home in Junction City. Other survivors include one daughter, Lakelie Reynaud and her husband James of Junction City, KS; one brother, Freddie Snipes; one sister, Earlene Brooks and her husband Robert; two sister-in-law's, Margaret Snipes and Lois Snipes; four grandchildren, Jalisa, Jaelah, Isaiah and Jameson; six great-grandchildren, Mekhi, Nehemiah, Zahriah, Kenneth, Jr, Kamora and Jaydon. He is also survived by a host of relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Stanley Perry; one brother, Louis Snipes; three sisters, Lidy Bell Snipes, Lizzie Mae Chism and Pearlie Mae Love.
