Sylvia White, 55, of Junction City, died June 30, 2015 at her home. Sylvia was born November 18, 1959 in Heilbronn, Germany, the daughter of Hildegard Charlotte Ilse Zwiekirsch. She attended schools in Germany and completed one year of college, also in Germany.
Sylvia was a line supervisor at J.C. Wire Harness in Junction City for many years.
Survivors include: 3 sons, Dominik White, Carthage, TX, Darren White and Michael White, both of Junction City; a daughter, Vanessa Glacken and her husband Gary, Junction City; and 5 grandchildren, Gary Glacken, III, Tyler Glacken, Logan Glacken, Brandalyn Glacken, and Gracen White. Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Christopher Eugene White on July 27, 2009.
Cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 6:00 p.m., Friday, July 10, 2015 at the Elk's Lodge #1037 in Junction City. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Research Fund, Kansas State University Foundation, P.O. Box 9200, Shawnee Mission, KS 66201-1800. Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
