Sun Im Bouska, 63, of Junction City, died January 16, 2015 her home. Sun was born May 13, 1951 in Seoul, South Korea and moved with her husband and family to Junction City in 1991.
Sun was a member of the Korean Grace Baptist Church of Junction City and she worked at the Commissary on Ft. Riley as a grocery clerk.
Sun married Alan Bouska on July 15, 1982 at Lawton, Oklahoma. Alan survives of the home. Other survivors include: a daughter, Angela Simon and her husband Kelton, San Antonio, TX; a brother, Ki Sung Moon, Incheon, South Korea; 3 grandchildren, TiYanna Simon, Ta'Shayla Gross, and Michael Gross, Jr.; and 2 great-grandchildren, Christopher Stoker, Jr and E'lijah Stoker.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 22, 2015 at the Korean Grace Baptist Church in Junction City. Burial will be in the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery at Ft. Riley, Manhattan, KS. The family will greet friends Wednesday, January 21, 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Johnson Funeral Chapel, Junction City. Memorial contributions may be given to the Korean Grace Baptist Church, 629 Grant Ave., Junction City, KS, 66441 or Cancer Research Fund, Kansas State University Foundation, P.O. Box 9200, Shawnee Mission, KS, 66201-1800.
