SuAnn Hartman, 79, of Junction City, died December 2, 2013 at Valley View Senior Life Center.
She was born on February 19, 1934, Ogden, Kansas, to Samuel and Opal Doyle McClure.
SuAnn graduated from Junction City High School in 1954. SuAnn had worked as a bus driver for the Chapman school district, at Geary Co. Noxious Weed Dept., and as a checker at Food-4-Less. She was a homemaker. SuAnn enjoyed reading and watching T.V.
On January 16, 1955, she married Alva Hartman, Sr. at Junction City. He died April 4, 1971.
SuAnn is survived by her 2 Daughters - Teresa (Franciss) Bacani of Junction City, KS, Tracy (Randy) Weir of Wakefield, KS; Son - Alva L. Hartman Jr. of Junction City, KS.; 2 Granddaughters - Melissa Boggs, Jennifer Bacani; 4 Grandsons - Billy Roop, Christopher Bacani, Jesse Weir, Cody Weir;
She was preceded in death by her Sister, Patricia Brklycica, Father, Samuel McClure, Mother, Opal McClure.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, Dec. 6, 2013 at Highland Cemetery in Junction City, with Pastor Todd Britt officiating. She will lie in state on Thursday, Dec. 5, 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel.
