Funeral services for SSG E-6 (Ret) Stonewall Thomas "Tom" Jackson 83, Junction City, KS will be 11:00 am Monday, September 22, 2008 at First Christian Church with Pastors Ronnie Roberts and Darel Boston officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow at Fort Riley Cemetery. Mr. Jackson passed away September 17, 2008 at Good Samaritan Center, Junction City. Visitation will be from 10 am until service time Monday September 22 at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church, 1429 St. Marys Road, Junction City, KS 66441. Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel is assisting with funeral arrangements.

Tom was born February 20, 1925 in Garland Alabama the son of James M. and Ida (Vance) Jackson. Mr. Jackson served as a mechanic in the US Army for over 20 years, retiring in 1969, and continuing to work on post for another 20+ years. He served in the Viet Nam Conflict. He was a member of First Christian Church and had served as an Elder. On August 5, 1954 he married Christa Harzer in Germany. She preceded him in death September 26, 2006.
