Steven A. Marcus, 63, Junction City, KS, passed away Friday, May 15, 2020, at his residence surrounded by his family. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service is not planned at this time.
Steven was born October 6, 1956, in Junction City, KS the son of George Edward and Delores Mae (Whitson) Marcus, Sr.
Steven graduated from Junction City High School. After graduating from high school, he entered the United States Marine Corp. After serving sixteen years in the Marine Corp he worked various jobs in Hillsboro, Parsons and Junction City. He retired from Footlocker in Junction City November 2019 due to health conditions.
He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W.. He enjoyed woodworking and refinishing furniture. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and animals.
He married Sharon Kay Evans March 29, 1980 in Grand Prairie, TX.
Survivors included his wife Sharon of the home in Junction City; two step-daughters, Julia Ann Byers of Stewart, VA and Lisa Jeanine Handt of Junction City, KS; four brothers, George Marcus, Michael Marcus, Greg Marcus and Patrick Marcus; five grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.
