Stephen G. McLaughlin, 47, of Junction City, KS, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2015, at Stormont-Vail Healthcare in Topeka, KS. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of his Life will be Tuesday, May 5, 2015, from 5-7 p.m. at the JC NAZ Church located at 1025 S. Washington Street in Junction City. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the family.
Stephen was born April 28, 1968, in Billings, MT, the son of Leslie and Cheryl (Kreiter) McLaughlin.
Stephen was a self-employed construction worker. He enjoyed poker, nascar, pool, lake time and spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his laugh and handy work.
He is survived by his wife Michelle McLaughlin of Washington, PA. His parents Leslie and Cheryl (Kreiter) McLaughlin also survive. He is also survived by two sons, Keon McLaughlin and his wife Alexis of Washington, PA, Zeven McLaughlin of Junction City, KS; two daughters, Nicole Courtney and her husband Cris of Junction City, KS and Brianna Pasteryk and her husband Evan of Washington, PA. He is also survived by one brother, Tom Dempsey of Portland, OR. He is survived by two grandchildren, Keon Jr McLaughlin and Savannah Courtney. His beloved companion Diane Thomas Adam also survives.
