SSG (Ret.) Charles G. Adams, 73, of Junction City, Kansas, passed away on October 1, 2023, at the Select Specialty Hospital, Kansas City, Kansas. A visitation will take place Thursday, October 5, 2023, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. followed by a committal service at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery with full military honors.
He was born on October 27, 1949, to Ernest and Mary (Wolfe) Adams in Columbus, Ohio. He enlisted into the Army after high school and served his country honorably for 21 years until his retirement in 1988.
He married his loving wife, Jong in 1978, and lived happily together ever since.
He is survived by his wife and two sisters, Julie and Ruth.
He is preceded by his parents and one daughter, Jong Jen Adams.
