Funeral Services for SSG, E-6 Robert R. Rexrode (Ret), 79, Junction City, will be 10:00am Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel. Burial with full military honors will follow at Fort Riley Cemetery. Mr. Rexrode passed away October 31, 2006 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka, KS. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00pm Tuesday, November 7, 2006 at Penwell-Gabel-Mass-Hinitt Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made in Robert's name and sent in care of Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel, 805 Caroline, Junction City, KS 66441.

Robert was born January 24, 1927 in Cumberland, ME the son of Labon C. and Fannie N.(Grogg) Rexrode. Robert served in the US Army from 1945-1965. He then worked for Civil Service at Fort Riley and retired in the mid 1980's. Past member of the Nobles of the Mystic Shrine

He was married to Oknyo Kim in 1955 in Seoul, Korea, she survives at the home.

Survivor's include three sons Larry, Alex, and Richard Rexrode all of Junction City ; daughter Judy Toy, Louisville, KY; 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and 1 grandson.
