Sonya Pendergrass, 88, of Junction City, passed away on November 10, 2015 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2015, 11:00 am at the Korean Grace Baptist Church, 629 Grant Ave, Junction City, KS., with Pastor Sung Tae Kim officiating. Burial will follow the services. Visitation will be held before services. Memorials are suggested to go to the Korean Grace Baptist Church.
Sonya Pendergrass was born on March 15, 1927, in Chungju, South Korea, daughter to Hak Soon Pak and Jung Ae Cho.
Sonya was a member of Korean Grace Baptist Church.
Sonya is survived by her daughter, Judy L. Leroy of Colorado; daughter-in-law Chong Hummel of Hawaii; and several grand children. She was preceded in death by her son Jack Hummel and her parents.
