Funeral services for Mrs.Son D. Hernandez, 67, will be 11a.m., Friday, January 19, 2006, at the Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel, 805 Caroline Avenue with Reverend Joyce Allen officiating. Burial will follow the service at Fort Riley Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Thursday at the Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel. Mrs. Hernandez passed away Friday January 12, 2007, at the Geary Community Hospital. Memorial contributions may be given to the Church of Our Saviour's United Methodist Church 1735 Thompson Dr. Junction City, Kansas 66441.
Son D. Hernandez was born May 8, 1939, in Pusan, Korea, the daughter of Kim Su Tak and Chung Yoon Soon.
Mrs. Hernandez was a homemaker. She enjoyed the outdoors and raised exotic birds.
She married Eugene Hernandez September 24, 1984, in Junction City, Kansas. He survives of the home.
