Siri Sue Thompson

Memorial services for Siri Sue Thompson, 47 of Junction City will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, January 15, 2011 at the First Baptist Church, 624 N. Jefferson Street with Pastor James Callaway officiating Siri passed away on December 8, 2010.

Siri was born at 2:40 a.m., October 13, 1963, Keokuk, IA to Gary and Judith (Derr) Thompson.

Siri married Raymond Burgess March of 1988 they moved with their daughter Justina Spring to Junction City in 1990, Siri and Raymond divorced in 2001.

She was a bus driver before she opened a day care center in 1997 but later closed it in 2002 and she then worked for Larry at A One Cab before working for Patty and Ralph at ABC CAB until 2006. Siri then worked for Alltel until 2008 and then worked for Glenn and Ann at KCI Road Runner/Bell Taxi until 2010 and returned to ABC CAB where she was employed when she passed away.

Siri was a loving and caring person, she could always make a person smile no matter what mood they were in and she always had something smart to say. She always did her best to help anyone when she could and we all loved her for that.

She is survived by her daughter Justina Spring (25 yrs.)and her son David Spring (28 yrs.), three grandchildren; Steven (6 yrs.), Brookle (4 yrs.), and Izabella (2 mths.)and numerous loving and caring friends.

Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel assisted the family with cremation arrangements.
