Funeral services for Simon Holt, Jr., 48, of Junction City, KS will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2006, 2 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel, 805 Caroline Avenue, with Reverend Audrey Toombs officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 31, 2006, 6-8 p.m. at Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Chapel. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Mr. Holt passed away January 22, 2006 at his residence. Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society, Heartland Division, 1100 Pennsylvania Ave., Kansas City, MO 64105.

Mr. Holt was born July 22, 1957, in Junction City, KS, son of Simon and Ethel (Bond) Holt, Sr.

He is survived by his parents of Junction City, KS; two brothers, Stanton S. Holt of El Dorado, KS and Jerome J. Holt of Lawton, OK; four sisters, Linda D. Green of Junction City, KS, Darla J. Pippins of Columbus, MS, Janet Y. Lee of Junction City, KS, and Deborah R. Wooten of Junction City, KS; grandmother, Mary Jackson of Corsicana, TX; three aunts and seven uncles and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Curtis Wooten, Joe Barner, William Hull, Tyrone Faison, Theron Graves, and Justin Greene.
