Graveside services for Shirley Maxine (Frazier) Johnston, 82, of Junction City will be held 10 a.m., Monday, June 9, 2008 at Milford Cemetery with Father Dale Plummer officiating. Mrs. Johnston passed away Thursday, June 5, 2008 at Geary Community Hospital. Memorial contributions may be given to the organization of the donor's choice.
Mrs. Johnston was born October 14, 1925, Dwight, KS to J. Elmer and Faye M. (Cookson) Frazier. She married Lester F. Johnston February 18, 1943 in Junction City he preceded her in death March 21, 1997. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons; Jeffery (Jeff) K. Johnston and wife Sylvia of Hayden, CO and Michael (Mick) L. and wife Joan of Kansas, one brother; Gary Frazier of Minot, ND, five grandchildren; Nathaniel Archuleta of Hayden, CO, Kimberly Johnston of Ft. Collins, CO, Mark Johnston of Kansas, Michelle Carter and Charlene Henney both of Junction City, Kansas, three great-grandchildren; Sophie Archuleta of Hayden, CO, Christian Carter and Chance Henney both of Junction City, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Beulah Galloway, four brothers; Glenn Frazier, Franklin Frazier, Dale Frazier and Melvin Frazier, one grandson; David K. Johnston.
