Shirley Faye Chase, 88, of Junction City, KS, passed away on May 9, 2017. Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home is assisting family with cremation arrangements.
Shirley was born on July 15, 1928, in Kansas City, Missouri, to Alton and Esther (Crider) Edney.
On November 4, 1947, she married James Chase in Junction City, Kansas. James and Shirley lived in Junction City, Kansas.
Throughout her life, Shirley enjoyed sewing, crocheting, bowling, watching old movies on late night TV (don't call her before noon), playing Bridge, and Bingo.
Shirley is survived by her loving family: Four Sons, James Louis Chase, Jr. of Palos Heights, IL, Robert Dennis (Geri Marie) Chase of Henderson, NV, Stephen Michael Chase of Manteno, IL, and Terence W. (Mary) Chase of South Padre Island, TX; Eight Grandchildren, Stephen (Ashley) Chase, Sean Chase, Derrick (Tess) Chase, Ryan (Kristine) Chase, Ashleigh (Zachary) Smerick, Stephanie Chase, Kyle (Patricia) Chase, and Joey Marie Chase; and Nine Great-Grandchildren, Jacob Chase, Anna Chase, Kylie Rae Servin, Blaize Servin, Lola Chase, Quentin Smerick, Jackson Smerick, Annabelle Chase, and Noah Chase; Three Brothers, Robert, Lloyd Dean, and Larry; and One Sister Carol.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Alton and Esther Edney, Husband, James L. Chase, Sisters, Rose Lee, Beverly Jean, Joan, Earlene, and Jackie, Brother, Allison "Sonny", and Daughter-In-Law, Roxanne Chase.
