Shirley A. Jeffrey, 51, of Junction City, passed away on July 14, 2015 at Golden Living Center, Wakefield, KS. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church with Pastor Laurie Barnes officiating. The family will greet friends in the parlor from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Inurnment will follow the service at Milford Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the JC Pacesetters, 429 Maple Street, Junction City, KS 66441.
She was born on December 28, 1963, Fort Riley, Kansas to Robert and Ann (Tarwater) Jeffrey, She attended school in Junction City, she was a past resident of Big Lakes Developmental Center.
Shirley was very close with her family, she was an avid K-State Fan and attended many home games, she loved music and she never met a stranger. She was friends with everyone she met and she loved her dog Sam.
Shirley is survived by her father, Robert Jeffrey, her sister, Shannon Jeffrey, her brother, Doug Jeffrey all of Junction City, KS; her brother Bob (Christine) Jeffrey of Milford, KS; she is also survived by her three nephews, Bobby (Emily) Jeffrey of Kansas City, MO, Mitchell (Janelle) Jeffrey of El Dorado, KS and Nathan Jeffrey of Milford, KS; her niece, Hallie Jeffrey of El Dorado, KS; her aunt, Vickie Tarwater of Cottage Grove, OR; and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ann Jeffrey in 1997 and her brother Don Jeffrey in 1984.
