Shelia K. McDougle, 66, of Junction City, Kansas passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024 at Stormont-Vail Healthcare in Topeka, Kansas.

The family will receive friends 5-6:30 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2024 at the Johnson Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the visitation.

Shelia was born March 18, 1957, in Morton, Mississippi the daughter of J.C. McDougle and Lula Mae Brown.

Shelia was a Jehovah Witness. She worked for Valley View Senior Life for many years. Shelia enjoyed working outside and enjoyed gardening. She loved her family and enjoyed helping others. Shelia was always happy and always put a smile on other people's faces. She loved her pets and shopping with her family.

Survivors include two sons, John (Melissa) Brown and Andre Brown both of Junction City, Kansas; one daughter, Hope Denise (Laurence Springer) Garry-Bey of Inkster, Michigan; two brothers, Victor White and Grady White both of Junction City, Kansas; three sisters, Terrie Sue Brown of Colorado, Theresa Taylor of Junction City, Kansas and Mary McDougle of Morton, Mississippi; one grandson, Andre Tiqueze Baker of Junction City, Kansas; four very close friends, Shelia Armstrong, Lisa, Brett and Rodney; host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Nellcine Brown and Jerry White; her beloved dog Charity.
