Sheila Wolverton

Sheila J. Wolverton, 56, of Junction City, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2007 at Good Samaritan Center in Junction City, Kansas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM, Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at Penwell-Gabel John Funeral Chapel, 203 N. Washington, Junction City with Rev. George Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery, Junction City. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Heartland Division, 1100 Pennsylvania Ave., Kansas City, MO 64105.

Sheila was born August 26, 1951 in Nashville, TN, the daughter of Lewis and Martha (West) Upshaw. She attended Junction City High School. She married Jim Wolverton and later divorced.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Candice J. Vallieres of Nashua, New Hampshire and Elena M. Allen of Junction City, 6 grandchildren, Leah M. Salcito, Tiffany D. Salcito and Dustin L. Vallieres of Nashua, New Hampshire; Keirsten J. Allen, Amanda L. Allen, Denyse R. Allen of Junction City; her mother, Martha Upshaw; and a brother, Tony L. Upshaw of Junction City.

She was preceded in death by her father.
