Elder Sheila Jackson was born January 26, 1955, in Montgomery, AL the daughter of Julius and Alfreda (Gregory) Jones. Elder Jackson , at the age of 23, married the love of her life, Charles Edward Jackson, on May 10, 1978 and they enjoyed 37 years of marriage.
An anointed teacher, Elder Jackson loved to both teach and learn. She earned an Associate Degree from Cloud County Community College in General Studies and Bachelor's Degree in Human Services from Upper Iowa University. She spent the majority of her adult life teaching children, beginning with her own three children, then at Church of Deliverance Day Care, and Church of Deliverance Christian Academy . Her true passion was teaching God's Word, through which she touched the lives of so many souls for Christ. One of her most quoted sayings was, "Salvation is gift, everything else is just a benefit."
With holy boldness and the full support of her beloved husband Deacon Charles, Elder Jackson, she ministered the Word of God throughout Germany and the United States, calling for men and women to repent and receive Jesus Christ. Elder Jackson was most proud of her family, and being an ordained Elder, and receiving her Bachelor's degree at the same time as her beloved Charles. Sheila and Charles loved being together and supporting one another in every endeavor.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Jackson; siblings, Barbara White, Gloria Rucker, Ann Lois Roberts, Julius Jones, Jr., Fannetta Crenshaw, Sharon Jones, Sandra Jones, Marie Jones and Audrey Billingsley; children, Tasha Jones, Sonobee Wilson, Treyon Wilson, and Katina Randolph; grandchildren, Javonte Randolph, Ezra Wilson, Isaiah Wilson, and Daniel Wilson; many cousins, in-laws, nephews, nieces, friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Julius and Alfreda, and her sisters Gloria and Sharon.
