God has taken our flower to put in his garden.
Born February 4, 2008 Shanyia went to be with God August 14, 2008. There will be a viewing and family and friends gathering Wednesday, August 20, 2008 from 3-5 pm at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington. All are welcome; there will be no formal service. A cremation is planned. She is survived by her mother Lisa Stinger and her fiancé, Jerome Roberson, who was a great help to her and Shanyia. She is also survived by her grandmother, Irma Plus of Topeka, her great grandparents Rita and Dennis Mayden of Junction City, her grandfather Donald Stinger of Syracuse, New York and great-grandparents Alden and Sandra Stinger of Hamilton, New York. Her Aunts Noel Mayden and Michelle Black of Junction City; great aunts and uncles Jennifer and Jason Cherico of Grandview Plaza and Misty and Brett Miles of Manhattan. A Memorial Fund is set up at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel for any who wish to remember her this way, the family would be grateful.
Lisa will host a potluck reception for family and friends at her home (grandma and grandpa's) from 6-8pm for all those wishing to share in remembering Shanyia. All are welcome.
