Shamario King, 38, of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Stormont-Vail Hospital. A visitation will be held 4-6 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014, at the Penwell-Gabel Mass-Hinitt Funeral Chapel 805 Caroline Ave. Cremation will follow the visitation. The family will receive friends immediately following visitation at the Knights of Columbus Hall 126 W. 7th Street in Junction City.
Shamario was born November 7, 1975 to Charles Foster and Wanda King. He lived in Junction City, KS. most of his life.
He graduated from Junction City High School. He also attended Washburn University in Topeka for two years. He worked as a home healthcare provider in Topeka. In Junction City, he worked for Sirloin Stockade and Denny's.
He is survived by his fiancé Carol Hazelton of Topeka, Ks. He is also survived by his parents, Charles Foster and Wanda King-Foster of Junction City, Ks., one son, Kiernen King of Junction City, Ks, two step-daughters, Kiarra Hazelton and Shamiqua Hazelton both of Topeka, Ks., one brother, Henry King and one sister, Kevia King both of Junction City, Ks., two half-brothers, Anthony Camphor of Junction City, Ks. and Charles Foster, Jr. of Chicago, Ill., two half-sisters, Pamela Camphor and Salina Foster both of Chicago, Ill. one uncle, Clyde King of Junction City, Ks. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother Voncile King, grandfather Willie Charles King, his Aunt Frances Dean, two uncles Willie C. King, Jr. and Marvin King.
