SFC (RET) Allan B. Rothlisberg, 75, of Grandview Plaza, KS, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Stormont-Vail Healthcare in Topeka, KS. A graveside service with military honors will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery with Pastor Mark Hatcher officiating. Memorial contributions are suggested to be given to the Disabled American Veterans', American Legion, Geary County Senior Center or the Junction City Band.

He was born on May 23, 1945, in Appleton, WI, the son of Kenneth and Alice (Wolff) Rothlisberg.

Allan graduated from Appleton High School-West and then entered the military. Allan retired from the United States Army after thirty years of service. He earned a Purple Heart during two tours of Vietnam and various Bronze Stars during his military career.

He married Susan Sorkowsky in 1971 and had four children: Brett, Amy, David and Michelle. Allan and Susan later divorced.

Allan met Cassandra "Sandy" Erdmann at their 40th high school class reunion and married July 30, 2004.

Allan served as a Kansas State Representative for Kansas House District #65 and was currently serving as Vice Mayor of Grandview Plaza.

He is survived by his loving wife Sandy, of the home in Grandview Plaza, KS; one son, David Rothlisberg of Appleton, WI; two daughters, Amy Flores and Michelle Rothlisberg both of Menasha, WI; one step-son, Patrick Erdmann of Bangkok, Thailand ; one step-daughter Jennifer Erdmann of Wakefield, KS; four grandchildren, Kayla, Sabrena, Lucas and Violet.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Brett Rothlisberg and one sister.
