SFC (RET) Eric M. Thomas, 70, of Junction City, KS, died on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at Geary Community Hospital. A graveside service with military honors will be 1 p.m. Thursday, November 18, 2021 at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery. A visitation will be held 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at the Johnson Funeral Home.
Eric was born August 1, 1951, in New Orleans, LA, the son of James and Berdella (Goins) Thomas.
Eric served in the United States Army having retired in 1990. Eric later worked for Russell Stover Candies in Abilene, KS. Prior to his death, he worked for AAFES (Army and Air Force Exchange the largest military retailer).
He married Chong Choe.
Survivors include his wife Chong of the home in Junction City, KS.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and one sister.
