Ruth Rago

Ruth Rago, of Junction City, Kansas, passed away on Monday, September 4, 2023, at Brookdale Senior Living in Junction City, Kansas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 23, 2023 at St. Xavier Catholic Church with Fr. Kerry Ninemire officiating. A rosary will be prayed at 10:30 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at St. Mary's Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to be given to C.L. Hoover Opera House, St. Francis Xavier Catholic School or to the organization of the donor's choice.

Ruth was born in San Marco en Lamis, Italy, the daughter of Tony and Rachel (Villani) Rago.

Ruth graduated from Junction City High School. She was associated with Rago Food Center for many years. Ruth enjoyed all aspects of horticulture especially growing flowers and vegetables. She was a member of St. Xavier Catholic Church.

Ruth is survived by her sister Josephine Rago of Junction City, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Louis, Peter, Leonard and John; one sister, Lena Rago.
