Services for Ruby F. Morganfield-Craig, 90,Junction City,Kansas will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, Saturday, June 29, 2002, 10:00 a.m. The
Reverend Robert Frasier will officiate. Ruby died June 26, 2002, at Geary Community Hospital, Junction City, Kansas. Visitation will be held Friday, June 28, 2002, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Johnson Funeral Chapel, burial will be held following the service at 2:30 p.m. at Ellsworth Memorial Cemetery, Ellsworth, Kansas, Reverend Don Ray will officiate. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 113 W. 5th Street, Junction City, Kansas and/or
Geary Community Healthcare Foundation, P.O. Box 3015, Junction City, Kansas 66441, Ruby was born January 11, 1912, Ellsworth, Kansas to
M. M. and Lula Stull Rathbun Graduated from Ellsworth High School in 1929 and attended Fort Hays State - Teacher's College. Married to William "Bud" Lowell Morganfield on Dec. 29, 1932 in Geneseo, Kansas. He preceded her in death on July 17, 1989. She then married Ret Col Dan Craig on February
14, 1993. He survives of the home. She was a schoolteacher in Ellsworth County Rural District for Four years. Ruby was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, President of the UPW for 2 years,Elder of the Church in 1961, Ladies Reading Club, Chapter AR of PEO, Presbyterial Officer of Presbyterian Church, former Trustee and Advisory Board member of the Geary Community Hospital Healthcare Foundation, was formerly in Girl Scouts, Red Cross,Geary County Tuberculosis and Health Association, Director on Kansas State Board of Tuberculosis Health, member of the Doting Grandmother's Club, also served 35 years on the American Cancer Society, and a member of the Hospital Auxillary. She is survived by One Son: Ken Morganfield and wife Joyce,Phoenix, AZ. One Daughter: Shirley Morganfield, Estes Park, CO, Two Brothers, Jack
Rathbun, Ellsworth, KS and Bob Rathbun, Denver, CO., One Grandson: Kevin
Morganfield, Manhattan, KS. And One Step-Granddaughter, Three Step-Great-
Grandchildren, Four Great-Grandchildren. And a host of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her Parents, Husband: William "Bud" Lowell Morganfield, Two Brothers: Cleo and Glenn,both of Ellsworth, KS. Casket bearers: Ben Morganfield, Sam Paull, Randy Rathbun, Kendall Rathbun, Jackie
Rathbun, and Kelly Rathbun. Honorary Casket bearers: Ed and Eunice Rolf, Bob and Betty Waters, Dr. Thomas Craig,Lee Hornbaker,Dr. Herb Bunker, Dr. L. G. Brethour, Joe Bowman, Organist: Cindy Carlyon-Ritchie, Vocalist: Rick Munson
