Ruby Elliott

Funeral services for Ruby M. Elliott, 97, of Junction City, KS will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel, 203 N. Washington St., Junction City, KS at 11 a.m. with Pastor James Callaway, officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm. on Tuesday, February 22, 2011, at Penwell-Gabel Johnson Chapel. Mrs. Elliott passed away on February 18, 2011, at Geary Community Hospital in Junction City.
Ruby was born on October 10, 1913, in Linn, KS, the daughter of Henry Smith and Carrie (Krebs) Smith.
She was a long time resident of Junction City and a member of the First Baptist Church, and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her son, Edward Elliott and wife Ann of Junction City, KS, two granddaughters, Lea Ann Seiler and husband Gary of Hanston, KS and Amber Marden and husband Richard of Manhattan, KS, three step-grandchildren, Tricia Verschage and husband John of Junction City, KS, Tara Galyean-Ennen and husband Jerry of Indianapolis, IN, and Michael Kimmi of Seattle, WA.
Four great-grandsons, two great-granddaughters, five step- great-grandsons and two step-great-granddaughters.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther, and two brothers, Orley Smith and Elton Smith, two half sisters, Minnie Smith and Lillian Wyatt, two half brothers, Glen Smith and Ray Smith.
